ibaCMC Condition Monitoring Center
Condition Monitoring of complex plants
The Condition Monitoring Center ibaCMC is a high end web-based desktop
application for trending, alarming and reporting tasks. The only piece of software
needed on the client side is a web browser.

Role based user
management
Different
user roles (e.g. administrator, signal analyst, electrical maintenance,
responsible plant engineer) demand different functionality and different data
to look at. The detailed user configuration module provides an extensive
toolbox for this task.
Easy
configuration
The ibaCMC provides a
built in component library, which can be used to setup the plant configuration
quickly by using the provided Drag & Drop functionality
Hardware
configuration
The
hardware configuration module allows the flexible configuration of the ibaCMU
devices. TCP/IP communication and optional ibaNet750 connections via ibaNet FO
are supported as well. The configuration can be downloaded to the ibaCMU
directly, which will automatically perform a reboot, to apply the new
configuration.
Trend view
The
trending module provides all the well known functionality like zooming,
multiple trends in the same view, cursors, navigator bar and many more. Linked
to the trend time axis detailed analysis of time signals, FFT and envelope FFT
can be performed. The auto-reload function updates the views automatically when
the trend cursor is moved
Virtual trending
The
ibaCMC also supports so called "virtual trending". Fault indicators
(trends) being calculated from vibration signals, are depending on the process
conditions of the plant or the environment, which leads to false alarms. The
virtual trending module uses additional process data to compensate this effect.
In combination with the ibaPDA process data acquisition system, providing
connectivity to all major PLCs, field buses and network protocols, the relevant
process data are easy to access.
Alarming and reporting features
Every trend has got several status properties, where configured users can
be alarmed on:

threshold value is exceeded
·
trend value is below threshold value
·
variance of the trend is exceeded
·
standard deviation is exceeded.
The trend status properties themselves can be combined and even weighted
individually to get more meaningful alarms. The alarms will be sent to
configured users via e-mail. PDF reports can be sent in addition to the
mentioned alarms. The user can choose out of a predefined set of PDF reports.
Installation
possibilities
ibaCMC
can be operated in several ways. The classic way is to install it on a
dedicated server hardware, but it can also be integrated into a virtual
environment (e. g. VMware® ESX™) seamlessly. It therefore can be operated in an
electrical room near the plant, in the IT department or it can even be hosted
at an external service provider.
